Survey Engineer
Job Summary
Job description:
Conduct topographic boundary and construction surveys using total stations GPS and
automatic levels.
Establish and verify project control points benchmarks and reference coordinates.
Set out the positions levels and alignment for excavation foundations columns walls
roads utilities and other structural elements.
Check the accuracy of all seeing-out works before and during construction.
Perform as-built surveys and prepare as-built drawings for completed works.
Monitor settlement structural movement and deformation where required.
Coordinate with site engineers consultants and subcontractors to ensure survey data is
accurate and up to date.
Prepare survey reports calculation field notes and coordinate schedules.
Verify dimensions elevation and locations against approved shop drawings and
specification.
Maintain and calibrate surveying equipment to ensure measurement accuracy.
Assist in quantity verification and progress measurement when required.
Ensure all surveying activities comply with project quality standards health and safety
- requirements and local authority regulations.
