Supervisor - Construction (EIT)

Supervise daily EIT installation work and guide field crews to meet approved drawings quality requirements and construction targets.
Allocate daily work to electrical instrumentation and telecommunications crews within assigned scope.
Check approved drawings materials tools access and permits before starting activities.
Supervise cable trays pulling glanding terminations equipment installation and instrument hook ups as applicable.
Conduct toolbox talks and enforce safe work practices and isolation controls.
Check installation workmanship and request inspections at required hold points.
Coordinate with adjacent disciplines to avoid clashes and protect completed installations.
Record quantities manpower progress and constraints and escalate technical issues.
Support testing teams punch clearance and completion documentation without unauthorized energization.
Diploma or technical qualification in Electrical Instrumentation or a related discipline.
6 years in EIT construction including 2 years supervising field crews.
Required Skills:
Requirements 6 years of EIT site/construction experience with international Oil & Gas EPC companies/subcontractors. Electrical Instrumentation or Telecom construction background. Middle East CIS/FSU or North Africa experience preferred. Experience working with diverse international teams. Good knowledge of NEC/NFPA IEEE NEMA and IEC standards. Strong troubleshooting and subcontractor management skills. PTW LOTO and Arc Flash training; ATEX preferred.
