About: Tomoh Apprenticeship is Microsofts program for Emiritization aiming to accelerate Emiratis employability and create market impact through Early-in-Profession recruitment and skilling programs.
Program overview: Microsoft Tomoh Apprenticeship is a paid six-month training program that offers globally recognized technical and professional certifications & skills and on-the-job training to include mentoring coaching job shadowing and real-life scenario assignments.
Program Details:The 6 months program is divided into two key phases (Phase 1 - Onboarding & Skilling Phase 2 - On The Job Training)
Phase one:Onboarding & Skilling Bootcamp (1 month)
- Onboarding and introduction to Microsofts mission culture strategy & structure.
- Technical skilling to obtain globally recognized Microsoft technical certifications.
- Professional and soft skilling courses including project management change management effective interpersonal skills creativity and innovation and time management.
Phase two:On-the-job training (5 months)
- Joining as an Solution Area Specialist for on-the-job shadowing and training.
- Mentorship and coaching sessions.
- Supporting Microsoft teams in digital transformation projects.
- Advanced technology trainings including AI Machine Learning & Cloud Computing.
Responsibilities
- Position Microsoft solutions effectively through market research industry insight and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Learn Microsoft cloud technologies and how they support customer digital transformation journeys.
- Identify customer and market needs and collaborate with internal teams to develop appropriate solutions.
- Support pipeline development and territory planning activities.
- Contribute to customer engagements and relationship-building opportunities.
- Develop technical and commercial knowledge through mentorship training and hands-on experience.
- Work across Microsoft teams and partner ecosystems to support customer success and business outcomes.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Emirati National holding UAE Family Book.
- Fluency in English.
- You must be legally authorised to work in UAE to be eligible for this role (Legally authorised has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit).
- Currently pursuing/ completed a Bachelors/ Masters Degree in Information Technology (IT) Computer Science Business Administration/Management Engineering or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for technology and customer obsessed
- Displays stakeholder and relationship management across senior leaders partners and customers
- Proficient communication analytical and presentation skills
- Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g. Azure)
