JOB SUMMARY: The Specialist – Communication is responsible for managing the day-to-day requirements of content & design development through multiple channels and ensures the dissemination of relevant, timely and accurate information to assist employees in the performance of their jobs. KEY ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES: • Advises on and develops content through the written word, design and occasionally film and photography for a variety of internal comunications. • Ensures content is aligned with corporate brand guidelines and messaging. • Contributes to the development and execution of the Internal Communications strategy and plan. • Effectively communicates the company’s vision, mission and values across the organization. • Capable of leading internal communication campaigns from start to finish and can report with success metrics. • Regularly audits and improves on the internal communication channels such as Sidra Pulse, portal using statistics to substitute change. • Aligns internal messaging with external messaging. • Tests and champions new technologies and mediums to enable more effective and efficient means of communication. • Creates a wide array of communications including speeches, presentations, newsletters, announcements, information sheets, brochures, articles, videos and more. • Demonstrates a high degree of accuracy and efficiency when writing, revising, editing and proof-reading material. • Excellent spelling and grammar and the ability to apply templates and style guides. • Supports in arranging town hall meetings and internal events. • Develops a comprehensive internal communication plan when required. • Adheres to Sidra Medicine’s standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest policies. • Adheres to and promotes Sidra’s Values
