Job Summary
Black Pearl Consult is hiring an experienced Senior Medical Physicist specializing in Radiotherapy in the UAE providing technical leadership across radiation oncology and therapeutic services.
This opportunity is suited to a senior medical physics professional with substantial experience in radiotherapy dosimetry treatment planning radiation safety quality assurance and the commissioning of radiotherapy systems.
- Provide senior medical physics expertise across radiation oncology and radiotherapy services.
- Lead and participate in the commissioning and acceptance testing of radiotherapy equipment and treatment systems.
- Develop commissioning protocols perform baseline measurements and establish reference data before clinical implementation.
- Support the commissioning of linear accelerators (LINACs) treatment planning systems brachytherapy systems and associated technologies as applicable.
- Perform and supervise dosimetry treatment-plan verification and equipment performance assessments.
- Establish and maintain comprehensive radiotherapy quality assurance and quality control programs.
- Evaluate treatment delivery systems and ensure equipment meets required technical and clinical performance standards.
- Support installation upgrades replacement projects and implementation of new radiotherapy technologies.
- Work closely with radiation oncologists radiotherapy technologists engineers and vendors throughout equipment installation and commissioning.
- Support radiation protection patient safety and regulatory compliance.
- Investigate technical issues and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare commissioning reports QA documentation technical procedures and other required records.
- Provide technical leadership guidance and mentorship to medical physics and radiotherapy teams.
- Contribute to service development and the introduction of new treatment techniques and technologies.
Candidates should ideally have:
- A relevant degree in Physics Medical Physics or a related discipline.
- Significant clinical experience in radiotherapy medical physics.
- Proven hands-on experience in commissioning and acceptance testing of radiotherapy equipment and treatment systems.
- Strong experience with dosimetry and treatment planning.
- Practical experience with LINACs treatment planning systems brachytherapy or other radiotherapy technologies.
- Strong knowledge of radiation protection treatment verification and clinical safety.
- Experience establishing and maintaining radiotherapy QA programs.
- Experience working with vendors and multidisciplinary teams during equipment installation commissioning and implementation.
- Previous senior supervisory or lead-level experience will be advantageous.
- Excellent analytical technical documentation and communication skills.

Required Skills:
Requirements Bachelors degree in Pharmacy (BPharm/PharmD or equivalent) from a recognized institution. Valid professional pharmacy registration/license. Relevant hospital or clinical pharmacy experience. Senior-level experience in a healthcare/pharmacy environment. Strong knowledge of medication safety and pharmaceutical care. Good clinical judgment and attention to detail. Strong communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills. Candidates must meet the applicable DHA professional classification and registration requirements.
Required Education:
A relevant degree in Physics Medical Physics or a closely related discipline.
