Job Summary
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for civil and building works with a focus on multi-storey buildings.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to identify and quantify materials labor and equipment requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams and suppliers to gather pricing and cost information.
- Prepare and maintain accurate cost databases and cost models.
- Evaluate and compare quotations and proposals from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Monitor project costs and provide regular reports to project management.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest value engineering alternatives.
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents and participate in bid submissions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies industry standards and regulations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and construction cost fluctuations.
- Collaborate with other departments to support project goals and objectives.
- Handle any other quantity surveying-related tasks as assigned.
