Job Summary

Lead and manage project preservation activities throughout construction and commissioning ensuring equipment and materials are properly preserved from receipt through final handover in accordance with approved project procedures and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage the project preservation program from equipment/material receipt through commissioning and handover.
  • Lead Preservation Engineers and monitor preservation activities KPIs and status reporting.
  • Coordinate with Client Vendors Subcontractors Construction QA/QC and Commissioning teams.
  • Review and approve subcontractor clean-build and preservation plans.
  • Develop and implement preservation checklists P-ITRs and inspection records for critical equipment.
  • Coordinate with Turnover/Completion teams to ensure preservation records are captured in the electronic systems completion database.
  • Conduct regular site/yard walkthroughs and inspections identify findings and drive timely close-out.
  • Provide technical guidance and resolve complex preservation and cleanliness issues.
  • Ensure compliance with project procedures safety requirements and applicable industry standards.


Requirements

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • 712 years experience with an international E&C/construction company.
  • Minimum 5 years site experience in Oil & Gas preservation.
  • Proven experience managing preservation of project equipment and materials.
  • Experience with Systems Completion / electronic database management systems preferred.
  • International/multicultural project experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership communication problem-solving and coordination skills.
  • Ability to independently manage complex preservation activities and provide technical guidance.
