Security System Operator

• Monitor security systems activity to ensure effective functioning of systems
• Respond promptly to security system alarms and emergency situations
• Respond to service requests by programming relevant security systems
• Maintain effective records of security system maintenance
• Ensure universal safety standards and rules are followed
• Track and order necessary spare parts for security systems
• Directly assist in the delivery of customer service in remarking areas
• Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot any security system issues
• Develop and maintain up-to-date operations and maintenance manuals
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Background in security systems installation and maintenance
• Five or more years of experience operating security systems
• Knowledge of security systems, e.g., CCTV, door access, fire alarm systems
• Ability to troubleshoot surveillance systems such as Analog, IP, HD/SDI
• Knowledge of alarm systems and safety protocols
• Ability to handle multiple high-pressure situations at once
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills
• Strong problem solving and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
• Flexible with working days, weekends, and holidays as required
