A reputable hospital near Elkins, WV has a full-time, permanent opportunity seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist to join their outstanding team environment! Great benefits package, sign on bonus, and possible relocation assistance offered.

Pays $24-32/hr

The Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist Opportunity:

• Full-time, direct hire position opening
  
• The full-time position is Monday-Friday (evenings preferred but willing to accommodate the right candidate!)
  
• Part-time opening as well!
  
• The position would include occasional weekends and occasional over-night on call
  

The Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist Responsibilities:

• The medical laboratory technician/technologist will perform, and report tests of all complexity levels as defined by CLIA, on patients of ALL ages
  
• These tests will assist with the routine screening, diagnosis, treatment, and management of diseases and injuries
  
• The medical laboratory technician/technologist will interpret and correlate test results with disease states and theoretical knowledge, and exhibit problem solving skills of a high complex nature
  
• Participate in quality assurance and quality control monitoring
  
• Will be required to perform phlebotomy and specimen duties
  

The Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist Requirements:

• Bachelors degree
  
• The medical laboratory technician/technologist must be certified through ASCP or equivalent
  
• Candidates who have a bachelor s degree and will be obtaining their certification within one year are encouraged to apply!
