Security Guard

• Patrol the premises on a regular basis to maintain order and establish presence in order to deter crime
• Monitor surveillance equipment and identify any potential threats
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
• Take appropriate action and report incidents to the relevant authorities
• Record and document any observed activity, suspicious incidents or security breaches
• Adhere to the company’s security practices and procedures
• Answer inquiries and provide guidance and direction to visitors
• Ensure the safety and security of personnel and assets
• Supervise and develop security personnel
• Remain up-to-date on the latest security best practices
  

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Security Guard
• Ability to remain alert and attentive at all times
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures and protocols
• Ability to identify potential security risks
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• A valid security guard license is required
• Knowledge of emergency response and crisis management
• A valid driver’s license is advantageous
