Research Manager

• Lead on scholar support, logistics and administration and finance in all NUQ-IAS programs and projects.
• Help develop and manage NUQ-IAS s undergraduate and postdoctoral fellowships, including through the provision of on-going, high quality, and supportive services and resources to fellows at the undergraduate and postdoctoral levels. Help develop and oversee a visiting faculty fellowship program.
• Help establish, and manage, as Managing Editor, NUQ-IAS Press, including an innovative portfolio of publications related to NU-Q s mission and NUQ-IAS key themes. Manage the logistics and promotion of multi-lingual and digital publications, in collaboration with the NU-Q Library.
• Assist the Dean and CEO, NUQ-IAS staff, and NU-Q faculty in organizing high-quality and high-profile colloquia, speakers series, workshops, and symposia on topics relevant to the Center s research.
• Collaborate with NUQ-IAS staff and NU-Q faculty in researching, conceptualizing, preparing, submitting, and implementing relevant sponsored programs.
• Support the Dean and CEO and institute staff in establishing and managing meaningful collaborations with researchers and research institutions who share NUQ-QIAS research focus and vision in order to foster new research that is both globally focused and locally relevant.
• Assist the Dean and CEO with research and represent the Dean and CEO in any meetings related to logistics (administration and finance, communication and public affairs, human resources, facilities, IT and production) at NU-Q and beyond.
