Quality control supervisor

Midwest multi-disciplined engineering firm is looking to add a Senior Municipal Engineer to their Chicago Team!

• Provide general municipal engineering services
  
• Assist with preparation of municipal budgets
  
• Assess needs, prepare and submit permits for local municipal projects
  
• Coordinate projects with other departments
  
• Review development plans for compliance
  
• Assign/manage duties of project team
  
• Inspect improvements for compliance with applicable codes/regulations/approved plans
  
• Prepare, document, and improve review procedures
  
• Provide technical guidance to non-technical staff/officials
  

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineer
  
• 12+ years as a Public Works official for local municipalities
  
• 5+ years of experience reviewing development submittals
  
• PE License preferred
  
• Experience working on stormwater management, water distribution, transportation facilities (parking, roadway design, pedestrian/bicycle facilities)
  
• Knowledge of Illinois Plat Act
  
• Travel throughout Northeastern Illinois with own transportation
