Project Cost Controller
Job Summary
We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Project Cost Controller in Abu Dhabi UAE. Our client operates in the Oil & Gas / EPC sector and is seeking experienced professionals to support project financial and cost-control activities. Key Responsibilities
- Manage project budgets commitments actual costs and forecasts for Oil & Gas/EPC projects.
- Prepare regular project cost reports and highlight cost movements and variances.
- Develop and maintain cost forecasts to support effective project financial control.
- Perform cost variance analysis against approved budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct earned value analysis (EVA) and support progress measurement activities.
- Coordinate project cost information with project controls planning engineering procurement and construction teams.
- Monitor project financial performance and identify potential cost overruns or deviations.
- Support management with accurate cost-control information for project decision-making.
Required Skills
- Project Cost Control Hands-on management of project budgets actual costs and forecasts.
- Cost Reporting Preparation and analysis of project cost reports.
- Cost Forecasting Forecasting project expenditure and identifying potential deviations.
- Earned Value Analysis Application of EVA to assess project cost and progress performance.
- Progress Measurement Tracking project progress against planned performance.
- Primavera P6 Working knowledge for project planning/progress coordination.
- MS Excel & ERP Systems Practical use for cost analysis reporting and project data management.
Preferred Skills
- ADNOC project experience.
- Major EPC project experience.
- Experience working with integrated project controls teams.
Work Experience Requirements
- 712 years of Project Cost Control experience is required.
- Experience should be within Oil & Gas/EPC projects with hands-on exposure to budgeting reporting forecasting progress measurement and EVA.
- Experience with ADNOC or major EPC projects is highly preferred.
Education
- Minimum: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of HSE laws regulations and international standards. Expertise in risk assessment hazard identification and incident investigation. Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Ability to conduct audits and training programs effectively. Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
