Job Summary

AirQ is looking for a Technical PMO to support the planning and delivery of advanced UAV/UAS production projects. This role is ideal for someone who can bring structure governance and strong coordination across engineering manufacturing and business teams.

What youll be doing:

  • Drive PMO governance standards and project frameworks across UAV programs
  • Monitor timelines budgets risks and ensure effective project execution
  • Coordinate with engineering production supply chain and quality teams
  • Act as a key link between R&D and manufacturing to support smooth production transitions
  • Review engineering change requests (ECRs) and assess project impact
  • Support integration of new UAV technologies (propulsion avionics autonomy) into workflows
  • Develop dashboards KPIs and reports for senior management
  • Track resource utilization and support project capacity planning
  • Identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements using lean/agile principles
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards (FAA EASA ISO AS9100)
  • Maintain technical documentation and project records

What were looking for:

  • 3 years of experience in PMO technical project management or engineering roles
  • Background in UAV/UAS aerospace or defense manufacturing
  • Strong experience with project tools such as JIRA MS Project or Smartsheet
  • Knowledge of production lifecycle supply chain and quality processes
  • Strong analytical reporting and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have:

  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification
  • Experience with agile/scrum in hardware production environments
  • Understanding of UAV systems avionics or composite manufacturing
  • Familiarity with PLM/ERP systems such as Teamcenter or Windchill
  • Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles
  • Experience with Power BI or advanced Excel reporting
