Job Summary
AirQ is looking for a Technical PMO to support the planning and delivery of advanced UAV/UAS production projects. This role is ideal for someone who can bring structure governance and strong coordination across engineering manufacturing and business teams.
What youll be doing:
- Drive PMO governance standards and project frameworks across UAV programs
- Monitor timelines budgets risks and ensure effective project execution
- Coordinate with engineering production supply chain and quality teams
- Act as a key link between R&D and manufacturing to support smooth production transitions
- Review engineering change requests (ECRs) and assess project impact
- Support integration of new UAV technologies (propulsion avionics autonomy) into workflows
- Develop dashboards KPIs and reports for senior management
- Track resource utilization and support project capacity planning
- Identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements using lean/agile principles
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (FAA EASA ISO AS9100)
- Maintain technical documentation and project records
What were looking for:
- 3 years of experience in PMO technical project management or engineering roles
- Background in UAV/UAS aerospace or defense manufacturing
- Strong experience with project tools such as JIRA MS Project or Smartsheet
- Knowledge of production lifecycle supply chain and quality processes
- Strong analytical reporting and stakeholder coordination skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Nice to have:
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification
- Experience with agile/scrum in hardware production environments
- Understanding of UAV systems avionics or composite manufacturing
- Familiarity with PLM/ERP systems such as Teamcenter or Windchill
- Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles
- Experience with Power BI or advanced Excel reporting
