Job Description

- Fabricating composite parts using the following processes: molding, forming, lay-up, co-curing, co-bonding, infusion, repair, surface preparation
- Cutting composite plies by hand in accordance with prescribed shape and orientations
- Operating autoclaves, ovens, and heated presses to cure composites
- Performing composite lay-up per detailed manufacturing instruction and specifications, consulting with other teammates
- Machining composite test panels and parts using drill press, wet saws, water jet, table saw, band saw, router, sanding (by hand or using sanding equipment)
- Operating precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, scales, micrometers) to check work performed
