Mechanical Engineer

Ensure that the engineering file is delivered with a strong PVV engineering definition and is fit to design for purpose that can be safely purchased, manufactured, transported, installed and operated, meeting the requirements of the Company Standard, Project Basis for Design, and SOR.
Ensure that assigned project tasks are well managed in accordance with the project implementation plan and contractual requirements which include:
Comprehensive, effective and timely review of project PVV discipline documentation, realization of potential exceptions to standards, and design challenge to achieve an improved, fit-for-purpose outcome
Assist in project studies and meetings related to PVV discipline in accordance with project approved gate levels and design maturity
Identify potential risks and scope changes, and perform an initial impact assessment to provide detailed information to the PVV Commander.
