Job Description

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marine Biology, Oceanography, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience of 5 – 8 years in conducting marine fieldwork, including SCUBA diving and boat-based surveys.
  • Comfortable working in offshore environments.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software and GIS applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and permitting processes related to marine projects is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field surveys and research to assess marine biodiversity, habitat quality, and ecosystem health.
  • Participate in SCUBA dive surveys where required
  • Collect and analyze water quality samples, plankton samples, and other environmental data.
  • Utilize GIS and other analytical tools to map marine habitats and assess spatial patterns.
  • Prepare technical reports, environmental impact assessments, and regulatory compliance documents.
  • Communicate findings to clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders through presentations and written reports.
