MAINTENANCE ENGINEER ELECT

Department INDUSTRIAL CITY OPERATIONS (RLIC) Title MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (ELECT) Primary Purpose of Job Lead electrical equipment maintenance and perform maintenance engineering and project activities at the critical Common Seawater Facility (CSF) to support the Lead Engineer in ensuring that the facility and equipment meets design reliability requirements and Production availability targets, while ensuring a safe working environment for QatarEnergy and Contractor personnel. Education B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an internationally recognized university, preferably with professional membership in a recognized engineering society/institute. Experience & Skills Experience in managing OT system cybersecurity in smart substations is advantageous. 10-12 years of proven engineering experience, including operation, maintenance, design and asset management of electrical systems up to 220kV, preferably within the oil and gas industry or public utilities. Direct hands-on and in-depth maintenance and operation experience of minimum 33 kV switchgear and equipment, while experience at 220 kV is preferred. Experience in maintenance scheduling, budgeting and estimating. Strong and proven experience is required in relevant maintenance engineering, maintenance optimisation and engineering design, with further analytical skills in reliability and availability of equipment and plant. Strong communication, influencing, presentation and negotiation skills. Excellent written and oral English. Knowledge of Arabic will be an advantage. Strong project management, organizational and time management skills. Strong computer skills, including advanced or expert knowledge of MSOffice applications and CMMS applications
