Lecturer in Nursing

Demonstrated record of academic experience and nursing practice.
Experience in teaching nursing at a post-secondary institution.
full-time equivalent recent clinical practice experience; preference will be given to candidates who have clinical nursing practice in high intensity neonatal care.
Demonstrated competence with curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation.
Demonstrated use diverse and current teaching approaches in the classroom and for practice experiences including the laboratory, simulation, and practicums.
Demonstrated ability to use a variety of educational technology and platforms.
Demonstrated academic and information literacy skills.
Consideration will be given to candidates who have: mentored/preceptored nursing students during practice practicums; and/or, a minimum of eight (8) years full-time equivalent of clinical nursing experience.
