Job Description

- Provide individual and small group lessons under the supervision of the classroom teachers and support services teachers
- Attend weekly meetings with support services teachers for instructional preparation and to discuss students’ learning needs
- Be part of Child Study Team (with admin, guidance, CT, LS, ESL teachers) to find solutions/strategies to create successful environments for students when needed
- Attend regular professional learning opportunities to enhance his/her own learning
- Assist in preparing lessons and learning activities to assist students reach their learning goals
- Communicate regularly with Learning Support, ESL, and homeroom teachers in regards to student’s needs, scheduling, and plans
