Lead Effect Artist - Remote from EMEA

This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: EMEA " DIGIC is a 20-year-old, Annie Award-winning animation studio based in Hungary that has made its reputation with its high-end 3D animation for feature films and commercials within the video game industry. DIGIC is best known for creating fine details and realistic characters, as well as world-class rendering in the production of animated shorts. We are looking for an experienced Lead Effect Artist to lead and guide a division team. We are open to remote freelancers or employees located in Hungary. What to Expect from This Position? - Leading and guiding a team of artists to create complex effect - Smoke and fire simulation in Houdini - Liquid and RBD simulation in Houdini - Handling of particle systems: Houdini and Maya Is this you? Then this is what we need from you: • Thorough knowledge of Houdini and Maya • At least 4–5 years of production experience • Ability to work independently • Fluent communication in English • Experience in Project Leading or People Management • Ability to lead remotely if you are not located in Hungary It's a plus if you: • Experience in using Nuke software​ • Speak Hungarian
