Kitchen Helper - Stewards

Abo Ali Restaurant & Cafe, established in 1997, is a renowned dining establishment in Dubai, UAE, specializing in Egyptian cuisine, seafood, and a fusion of Eastern and Western dishes. Committed to upholding the highest standards in food quality, cleanliness, and customer service, we are currently seeking a Male Kitchen Helper / Steward to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should possess an own UAE visa.

Key Responsibilities:

- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area.

- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed.

- Clean kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment regularly.

- Properly dispose of waste and follow waste management protocols.

- Store kitchen tools and equipment appropriately post-cleaning.

- Assist in receiving, organizing, and storing kitchen supplies.

- Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and health and safety guidelines.

- Support kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements & Skills:

- Must have a valid own UAE visa.

- Basic understanding and communication skills in English.

- Previous experience as a Kitchen Helper, Steward, or Dishwasher preferred.

- Knowledge of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene practices.

- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform cleaning duties.

- Strong work ethic, reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or commercial kitchen.

- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation practices.

- Team player with the ability to work effectively in a kitchen team.

Candidate Preferences:

- Experience: 1–2 years in a similar role.

- Languages: Basic English proficiency.

- Visa Status: Valid own UAE visa.
