Infrastructure Engineer Dry Utilities

We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer Dry Utilities to join our infrastructure project team in Abu Dhabi with experience in dry utilities and infrastructure works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor the construction of dry utility infrastructure works including electrical telecom street lighting and associated utility networks.
• Oversee construction activities including utility ducts chambers manholes cable routes sleeves crossings and associated infrastructure works.
• Ensure construction works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings specifications method statements ITPs and project requirements.
• Review Contractor submissions shop drawings material submittals method statements RFIs inspection requests and other technical documents.
• Monitor site progress quality workmanship and compliance with approved project requirements.
• Coordinate with the Contractor Authorities utility providers stakeholders and other disciplines to resolve technical and construction-related issues.
• Monitor testing and inspection of dry utility networks and ensure all required inspections and approvals are completed.
• Identify technical issues construction risks and potential delays and coordinate with the project team to implement appropriate corrective actions.
• Coordinate interfaces between dry utilities and other infrastructure elements including roads wet utilities structures landscaping and other services.
• Review site conditions and proposed construction solutions and provide technical recommendations where required.
• Monitor the Contractors compliance with approved construction methodologies ITPs specifications and quality requirements.
• Maintain proper records of site inspections progress technical issues RFIs and construction activities.
• Participate in site meetings progress meetings technical discussions and coordination meetings with the Contractor and relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure that health safety environmental and quality requirements are properly implemented on site.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 7 Years relevant experience in infrastructure and dry utilities.
• Proven experience in infrastructure and dry utilities construction.
• Good knowledge of electrical telecom street lighting utility ducts chambers and associated infrastructure works.
• Experience in construction supervision inspection quality control and coordination with Contractors.
• Good understanding of construction drawings specifications method statements ITPs and technical submissions.
• Experience working on major infrastructure projects is preferred.
• UAE infrastructure and Authority experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary project team and manage multiple site activities.
