Job Title: Endpoint Security Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Administration of Symantec and Sophos Admin console.
  
• Defining and applying EPS policies.
  
• Monitoring EPS consoles.
  
• Managing EPS incident lifecycle.
  
• Onboarding new clients and checking inventory.
  
• Communicate regularly with Information Security Management as the technical security advisor on desktop technology, with internal clients.
  
• Ensure endpoints, system security applications and services in environment are securely configured and managed through operating system appropriate security platforms and tools.
  
• Collaborate with Workstation Engineers to maintain detailed documentation of endpoint images, including details about the functionality of all security agents and the functions those tools provide.
  
• Accountable for assessing company risk as it relates to endpoints and protection of information.
  

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience of EPS Engineer or similar role.
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills (Advanced English and Arabic).
  
• Knowledge of endpoint security solutions, such as Sophos and Symantec (Sophos and Symantec certification is preferred)
  
• Experience in installing, configuring, and managing endpoint protection software.
  
• Understanding of computer viruses, malware, and security threats.
  
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot security incidents.
  
• Knowledge of operating systems, such as Windows, MacOS and Linux.
  
• Good understanding of security best practices, standards, and regulations.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Industry certifications such as CISSP or GSEC preferred.
  
• Strong communication and project management/coordination skills.
