HSE Officer

1. Ensure physical security and safety of all shipments in the branch / various facilities (Service Centers, Areas, etc.) under the branch
2. Investigate cases related to loss, damage, pilferage, theft of shipments, and misuse of credit cards in the branch
3. Ensure regular updation of SHIELD (online security module) and timely closure of investigation cases related to the branch in the system
4. Ensure the safety of high-value shipments in the branch through physical hand-over and take-over, sending pre-alerts, monitoring shipments in transit, educating customers on the packaging, etc. as per the defined procedure.
5. Ensure the conduct of security checks on pickups done in the branch for dangerous goods/ banned items.
6. Ensure the conduct of security checks on all shipments received from cash customers in the branch.
7. Conduct security verifications for all new branch customers prior to signing contracts.
8. Ensure the physical security of all the facilities in the areas covered under the branch.
9. Ensure the functioning of electronic security devices in the branch (CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarms, etc).
10. Conduct regular security audits in the branch.
11. Undertake pre-employment verifications and police verifications for all new joiners including PDAs in the branch.
12. Conduct security orientation and training for all employees in the branch.
13. Ensure the safety of the branch through regular conduct of electrical audits, fire-safety audits etc.
14. Conduct various safety training programs for branch employees including emergency response procedures, mock fire-safety drills etc.
15. Ensure communication of safety-related policies and procedures to all branch employees.
16. Maintain relationships and liaisons with various regulatory bodies in the areas covered under the branch.
17. Liaise with the local police for smooth operations of delivery /network vehicles during daytime
18. Conduct regular training of security guards in the branch.

1. Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in liaisoning.
2. Must be a Graduate.
3. Should be from Mumbai and Mumbai Suburban areas.
4. Must have excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
