Graduate Concept Architectural Designer
Job Summary
Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations.
Preparing specifications reports and related data tables.
Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups.
Preparing reviewing and approving drawings as required.
Under the direction of the Supervising Architect may perform technical assignments of moderate complexity within approved schedules and budgets.
May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project.
May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Foundational proficiency in Revit AutoCAD and graphic/visualization tools such as Adobe Creative Suite; exposure to BIM workflows is advantageous.
- Understanding of architectural principles building systems construction materials and design coordination workflows.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings specifications and technical documentation.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage tasks under guidance and contribute to technical accuracy.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment.
- A proactive learner with curiosity and enthusiasm for developing both technical and design capabilities.
- Candidates must be recent graduates having graduated within the last 24 months or no later than September 2024 to be eligible for AECOMs Graduate Program.
- Successful applicants must have achieved a minimum GPA of 3.2 and above.
- If you hold a Masters Degree it should have started within 12 months of completing your Bachelors Degree to ensure continuous education and meet program requirements.
- Candidates with more than 1 year of postgraduate work experience are not eligible for the program and are encouraged to apply for our professional-level roles instead.
