General Foreman

Work Description:

• Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities across multiple work fronts.
• Lead and manage foremen skilled workers and laborers to ensure the efficient execution of the works.
• Allocate manpower equipment and materials according to the approved construction program.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the approved drawings specifications method statements and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers Survey Engineers subcontractors and suppliers to maintain smooth site operations.
• Monitor daily work progress and report productivity delays and resource requirements to the Site Engineer or Project Manager.
• Ensure that all required materials tools and equipment are available before commencing work activities.
• Inspect work areas regularly to verify workmanship and ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
• Enforce Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) regulations ensuring all workers comply with approved safety procedures and use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Identify construction issues and coordinate with the engineering team to resolve technical and operational problems.
• Monitor housekeeping and maintain a clean organized and safe working environment.
• Coordinate inspection readiness by ensuring works are completed prior to consultant inspections.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure work is completed within the approved schedule.
• Maintain daily site records including manpower deployment equipment utilization work progress and material consumption.
• Assist in planning and implementing recovery measures to minimize delays and improve productivity.
