Finance Analyst

Responsibilities • To undertake financial control and reporting within Drainage Network Operations Maintenance Department (DNOMD). • Assist in the establishment of the annual budget and five year financial plan. • Monitor, report and control budget to assure achievement. • Provide business partnering service to Sections to understand business needs and provide financial input to business decision making. • Act as link with PWA corporate Finance Department to ensure corporate budgeting and reporting are satisfied and payments to suppliers are made on time. • Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures and ensure compliance. • Carry out financial compliance audits and make recommendations for improved governance to mitigate risk. • Act as 'superuser' for financial systems.
