Nord Anglia International School Al Khor (NAISAK), Qatar Nord Anglia International School Al Khor is looking to appoint an outstanding EYFS Teacher to join a well-established, supportive team in a highly successful and expanding school.Nord Anglia International School Al Khor (NAISAK) is a 3-18 through school with more than 1100 pupils currently on roll. EYFS comprises of 6 classes across FS1 and FS2, with approximately 130 children aged between 3-5. We implement In the Moment planning across our units to support students in meeting the Early Learning Goals. We educate both local and expat students through a bespoken and engaging curriculum that focuses on the development of language and skills. We track progress through the use of Focus Children and regular communication between the EY team and parents.Our school resides in the town of Al Khor, 30 minutes north of Doha (the capital of Qatar). Job Responsibilities Learning and Teaching To promote the mission and philosophy of the school, ensuring that children are working towards being truly bilingual international citizens. To ensure that planning, preparation, recording, assessment, and reporting are of the highest quality and meet the varying learning and social needs of children. To be flexible and adjust to the needs of the school, actively contributing to its development plans and growth. Implement agreed policies and developments. To demonstrate thorough curriculum knowledge, teach and assess effectively. Use the student tracking and monitoring processes to advance children s learning and enhance professional practice in line with the school s aspirations and priorities. To take personal responsibility for professional development. To effectively communicate the school s narrative, being an ambassador for our school at all times. JD NAISAK EYFS Teacher Personal Specifications Bachelor s degree in education or degree plus PGCE/QTS Essential Teaching Qualifications Essential Proven track record and two years of teaching experience Essential Teaching within International Schools Essential Good working knowledge of the Early Years Statutory Framework and UK National Curriculum Essential Good classroom practice and interpersonal skills Essential Ability to prioritise workloads and to work on own initiative Essential Range of teaching experience across different year groups Desirable Integrated technology into the classroom experience to enhance and extend the learning of students Essential Successfully teach students using technology in virtual/hybrid environment Essential Experience in leading meetings or INSET sessions Desirable Selection Process Applicants should submit a CV, letter of application and the details of two professional referees, one of which should be your current Head Teacher/ Principal.
