Job Description

Job Purpose • Oversee contractor activities during the Project, which includes all aspects of Onshore and offshore Electrical System Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning activities in Qatar to ensure flawless handover process of project from construction to Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning and Start-Up by ensuring the facility and all its components are built and installed according to the design, intent and function as agreed in project specifications. Qualifications • Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent. Knowledge and/or Experience • 10 years’ systems completion experience/commissioning in the oil and gas industry with exposure to a major projects environment in the oil and gas industry. • Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning experience for Electrical systems. • Deep understanding/knowledge in reading P&IDs, SLDs, Datasheets, General Arrangement drawings. • Experience in major EPC Contractors and fabrication activities at fabrication yards • Implementation of commissioning plan. • System Completion Software (preferable WinPCS). • Knowledge of Offshore Project’s terminology. • Offshore experience (an advantage).
