About the Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Optometrist to help us provide excellent vision care services to our patients in long-term care facilities.

Some of the responsibilities include:

• perform routine, comprehensive exams for glasses and contacts
  


• perform dilated exams
  


• provide diabetic evaluations
  


• treatment of infection and injury
  


• Repair and equip patients with eyeglasses
  


• Proficient in diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease
  


• Comfortable working with geriatric population
  

We have excellent opportunities for highly motivated & passionate Optometrists who are looking to start a rewarding career. We provide routine eye exams to our largely geriatric patient population, as well as a broad range of treatments related to ocular diseases such as macular degeneration, inflammatory eye disease and dry eye syndrome.

Ideal Candidate will:

• Be available part-time or full time
  


• Have a valid OD/DO license in the state of NY
  


• Be Board Certified
  


• Quickly acclimate to new environments
