He works to implement cost control plans on time, and coordinates with project managers, technical offices, and bidding management to collect all required data and documents and ensures their accuracy.
He studies and analyzes the technical work items, the stages and duration of project implementation, project needs, lists of quantities, and other cost elements. He prepares cost estimation tables and the budget for project implementation and submits them to his direct manager for review.
He studies the direct and indirect cost items to determine the cost centers accordingly. He uploads the expense items to their cost center and reviews them with his direct manager.
He prepares reports on project cost control that include data on estimated project costs compared to actual costs, submits reports to his direct manager, analyzes deviations, explains their causes, expected risks, and suggests corrective and preventive measures to be taken.
