- A team player who can work independently but also as part of a small group
- A story seeker with a nose for news, you’ll actively be forming campaigns with the Media Relations Manager, seeking out media opportunities and working with the technical and public affairs team to identify opportunities for the organisation
- You will be a networker, someone who can engage with journalists to maintain relations.
- Working in a press office is desirable but not essential, either in-house or agency, preferably with a focus on consumer PR
- Capable of writing compelling copy for press releases, agility to respond swiftly and accurately to press deadlines, responding to developing situations
- A proven track record of securing top tier press coverage
- An understanding of newsjacking and its power to secure coverage
- Experience working with case studies is desirable but not essential
