Civil Inspector Wet Utilities

      To inspect and monitor the construction of wet utility infrastructure works ensuring compliance with approved drawings project specifications quality standards health and safety requirements and developer/client requirements.

• Inspect and supervise wet utility works including water transmission and distribution networks potable water pipelines irrigation networks stormwater drainage systems foul sewer networks pumping stations and associated utility structures.
• Ensure all construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings specifications method statements and relevant authority requirements.
• Monitor excavation trenching pipe laying bedding backfilling manhole construction chambers thrust blocks and utility crossings.
• Conduct inspections of pipe materials fittings valves manholes precast structures and associated civil works.
• Witness and verify pressure testing leakage testing hydrostatic testing CCTV inspections flushing disinfection and commissioning activities.
• Review and process Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by the contractor.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and maintain accurate records of site activities inspections tests and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Verify compliance with approved quality control procedures and project QA/QC requirements.
• Monitor contractor performance and report deficiencies non-conforming work and safety concerns.
• Coordinate with Resident Engineers Utility Engineers Contractors Authorities and Client representatives.
• Ensure as-built records are maintained and installation levels alignments and coordinates comply with approved designs.
• Monitor traffic management utility protection measures and safe excavation practices.
• Support project handover activities and final inspections.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 7 years of construction supervision and inspection experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience in wet utility infrastructure projects.
• Experience in water sewerage stormwater irrigation and utility corridor projects.
• Experience working with private developers municipalities or infrastructure authorities is preferred.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality DEWA RTA and other UAE utility authority requirements is an advantage.

Additional Information :

• Strong understanding of water sewerage stormwater and irrigation networks.
• Knowledge of HDPE DI GRP GRE PVC uPVC and reinforced concrete pipelines.
• Familiarity with utility testing and commissioning procedures.
• Ability to read engineering drawings utility profiles and construction details.
• Experience in QA/QC documentation and inspection reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Office and construction management systems.
