Bits Welder

Seeking a skilled Bit Welder with experience in TIG/MIG welding hard facing brazing metal fabrication and grinding to support bit manufacturing operations while meeting NOV Quality and HSE requirements.

• Perform TIG/MIG welding hard facing brazing and other metal welding processes.
• Read and follow technical drawings and engineering specifications.
• Assemble components according to engineering drawings and established procedures.
• Set up and adjust equipment to ensure proper alignment of parts.
• Lift position and secure workpieces safely during welding operations.
• Ensure welding setups are approved by the senior operator or supervisor before production.
• Use standard measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
• Perform required manual grinding and hot-work activities.
• Carry out operator-level machine maintenance and daily workplace cleaning.
• Comply with all NOV Quality HSE and operational requirements.
• Support other operations shifts or weekend work when required

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Technology Metal Fabrication or Welding Processes.
• Vocational training with 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent practical experience.
• Previous experience in production processes or light/heavy fabrication is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings and schematics.
• Experience in manual grinding operations.
• Good understanding of manufacturing shop practices and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Good teamwork skills with the ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of Quality and HSE requirements.
