About this opportunity We are now looking for a Back office Transmission Engineer with good hands-on Managed services ways of working. He will be responsible for coordination, support, management, and execution of maintenance activities to ensure that services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels. What you will do • E-to-E 2nd level troubleshooting over IP Network • Routers • L3 switches • L2 Switches • L2 Transmission Nodes • MPLS (coordination with third party) • Node Acceptance • Configuration management • Problem Management • Working in 24/5 shifts • Working on-call in weekends when required • 2nd line fixing for transmission related outages and degraded issues on the below Equipment’s/ Systems using STC Trouble Tickets System (RTTS): • TN 2p, 6p, 20p (R6) • ML6600 • R6000 • ML6352 • Daily work includes using the following Ericsson ENM • Support and guide NFM/FO-TX on fixing for Trouble Tickets related to Transmission. • Support other teams for their E-to-E fixing (BO-Access, TNOC/SDH, GPON, Cisco) • Follow up with the design team for the transmission design issues (MW/LB/DCN, SDH/CWO, IPMPLS, and GPON).
