Main duties include: • Managing and organising the Supply Chain section. • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the storage, handling and control of materials that complies with the QCAA requirements and standards. • Execute overall leadership of the materials management team responsible for ensuring that Amiri Flight spares and equipment are maintained in a serviceable condition. • Liaising with Finance to ensure settlement and follow-up of invoices. • Monitoring effectively all loan issues. • Monitoring aircraft spare requirements for deferred defects; Procurement and dispatch of AOG spares. • Ensuring appropriate stock level. Define and implement inventory control procedures through TRAX monitoring and update. • Preparing management reports for purchasing/inventory related issues. • Develop approved networks of suppliers ensuring a compliance with QCAA requirements in conjunction with Manager Quality Technical. • Evaluating new contracts on request of the Technical Management. Qualifications The Successful candidate will have the following qualifications, experience and skills: • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Aviation or Supply Chain Management. • A minimum of ten (10) years airline experience with a minimum of five (5) years in material management.
