Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team in Doha The ideal candidate for this position should possess excellent analytical skills and have a strong understanding of accounting principles The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of financial management which includes bookkeeping preparation of financial reports and budget evaluations Job Description Responsible for maintaining ledger accounts and preparing financial statements Analyze financial information reconcile accounts prepare invoices and payments Record transactions into accounting software Ensure accuracy in all entered data Prepare tax returns and other required documents Monitor accounts receivablepayable activity and cash flow Liaise with internal stakeholders to discuss financial matters Maintain compliance with local lawsregulations regarding taxation and accounting Needs for the Candidate Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance or related field or equivalent experience Proven experience as an accountant Excellent organizational skills with an attention to detail Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Familiarity with Microsoft Office Excel Word Knowledge of general ledger functions and the month-endyear-end close process Working experience with accounting software platforms eg QuickBooks Salary 1300 QAR
