The Logistics Associate is responsible for ordering and warehousing a wide range of parts and products for upcoming projects. This individual will work closely with the Accounting, Project Managers and Operations Manager to ensure that our Technicians are supplied with everything they need to complete the job(s) they are scheduled for.
Key Job Responsibilities:
The Logistics Associate coordinates getting materials to and from active job sites, either by arranging for items to be picked up from the Livewire warehouse by technicians or by scheduling outgoing deliveries with a local courier service. They will be responsible for ordering products and receiving deliveries from various freight lines. This individual will also be accountable for the organization, cleanliness and overall safety/security of the warehouse and its contents. The logistics associate will be responsible for tracking and ensuring parts on vans are accurately tracked and assigned to the projects that they are used on.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Driven, detail-oriented, organized, and ability to multitask
Excellent computing skills
Ability to lift and carry boxes and other items, sometimes exceeding 50 lbs.
Clean driving record and background check
Completion of Livewire University within 1 year of employment
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience with purchasing, warehousing and logistics
Inventory tracking
Proficient in Google Sheets and Docs
Previous experience working within a CRM platform
Previous experience working within an accounting software

Livewire offers group coverage beginning the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment for full time employees. Employer pays 50% Employee only portion of base plan. There are 3 plans to choose from, our base plan, an upgrade for out-of-network coverage, and an additional plan with a higher out of pocket maximum and deductible but lower premiums.

$25,000 term life insurance for every employee of Livewire. Our plan is through United Healthcare Life and is 100% employer paid. You won t need to pay any premiums, ever. You do need to fill out the application before the end of your second month with us so we can get you added to the plan.

All active, full-time employees are eligible for paid vacation. All vacation must be earned before being taken. PTO is earned based on the number of years in service. (See chart below)
Sick days and Vacation days are lumped together in terms of accrual. For example, if the accrual schedule says you accrue 10 days of sick/vacation time annually, your total paid time off is 10 days.

The vacation calendar year runs from September 1st until August 31st.
Accrued but unused vacation time may be carried over from one year to another, but the total amount carried over must not exceed 80 hours (10 days). Any time over 80 hours will be forfeited by the employee on August 31st of each year. This is a use it or lose it policy.
Vacation time must be scheduled in advance and approved by the employee s supervisor.
Time Off Requests must be submitted for approval for each absence in Sage Time. This applies to unplanned time off as well, the request should still be submitted with a notation. Ex: Out sick on 3/17/2021.
Livewire Employee Discount Policy
General Overview: Livewire offers our employees the benefit of purchasing merchandise, parts, and materials at cost. Cost includes the unit price plus any associated shipping or freight expenses. Furthermore, employees are responsible for VA state sales tax (6%).
Who Qualifies: Employees only. Family is welcome to purchase merchandise, parts, and materials at cost + 10% markup and Livewire installation services at trade-rate.
Payment: Employee and family purchases must be paid by check or paycheck withdrawal. Credit card payments are accepted for an additional 4% fee.
How to Redeem: An estimate for the requested merchandise, parts, and/or materials must be drafted and approved by your supervisor. Upon approval, payment should be made through our accounting office. Once payment has been collected, the order may be submitted through the purchasing department for processing.
