Lead Upgrade Sales Manager is responsible for leading penetrating upgrades across the gas power services portfolio in the region. Responsible for value stream mapping fleet segmentation and leading the R0/R1 process. High levels of commercial judgment are required to achieve the required outcomes.Job Description
What youll do:
- Excellent understanding of the energy market dynamics & trends in the region including the regulatory changes and the various key players in the market.
- Develop long term strategic plans by market and upgrade products to drive penetration and growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with sales community commercial managers application engineers and product management
- Continuously monitor and drive opportunity development by early engagement with account sales
- Provide leadership through the formulation and execution of value sell strategies with the respective internal teams.
- Drive commits orders sales and contribution margin growth.
- Position of the Upgrade portfolio offerings and Long-Term Service Agreements.
- Facilitate effective cross-functional working relationships with Gas Power Services Engineering Sales Pricing Product Management etc. to achieve positive business outcomes.
- Share knowledge internally and use market knowledge to drive sales opportunities with customers.
- Provide demand forecasting and pacing support.
- Own the R0/R1 process across all upgrades opportunities
- Responsible to drive NEX visibility and accuracy with the regions sales opportunities (case and pipeline).
- Publish regular pipeline and case analysis and perform leadership report outs
What youll bring:
- Bachelors degree in engineering or business-related discipline from an accredited college or university or relevant experience
- Min 2 years of experience within the power generation industry
- Min 2 years of knowledge of gas turbine and steam turbine technology products and services
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Ability to travel up to 25%

- Ability to translate strategy into business objectives.
- Capable of planning and executing major initiatives.
