Position Summary

Middle East & Africa (MEA) is one of DXCs most dynamic and culturally diverse growth regions. The Communications Manager for MEA will own and drive communication strategies across three pillars: executive and employee communications external communications and issues communications.

This is a high-visibility high-impact role in a fast-moving market. The right candidate doesnt wait for direction they anticipate the narrative move quickly and deliver creative polished work that cuts through complexity. They thrive in juggling competing priorities without breaking stride and bring a bias for action to everything.

Serving as the critical bridge between global strategy and on-the-ground execution this role translates corporate narrative initiatives and brand standards into locally resonant messaging across diverse MEA markets ensuring every touchpoint is consistent culturally relevant and ready to energize employees. They amplify DXCs external reputation protect the brand and fuel business growth across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Executive and Employee Communications

Own internal communications for MEA from strategy through execution. Design and develop a strong communications plan that includes leader town halls end-to-end people manager calls (as needed) market-specific announcements covering policy updates business updates and organizational changes as required. Adapt global messaging for local and cultural context. Additionally working closely with People & Culture to promote employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.

External Communications

Work with PR agency in MEA to build and execute a proactive earned media strategy that puts DXC at the center of the regional conversation. Partner with Global External Communications to develop press releases executive profiling and other media materials that align to the corporate narrative and priorities. Ensure incoming media queries are addressed and DXC is included in positive coverage. Pitch stories develop media interviews social posts and thought leadership.

Issues Communications

Serve as the regional issues communications lead partnering with the Global Issues Communications Lead to manage stakeholder messaging during crises. Coordinate across HR Legal Employment Law

Ethics & Compliance DXC Resiliency and business leaders to ensure responses are accurate timely aligned and compliant with local laws and regulations. Member of local Crisis Management Teams (CMT).

Translation & Localization

Translate global internal and external content into local languages (e.g. Arabic) and convert locally developed materials into English for corporate review and approval.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Communications Marketing Public Relations or related field (or equivalent experience).

7 years of relevant work experience with at least 3 years in a similar role.

Proven experience in Communications preferably in a multinational environment.

Strong proficiency in strategic communication planning and execution.

Strong writing skills applicable to range of communications content.

Demonstrated ability to adapt messaging for diverse cultural contexts.

Continuous learner who stays abreast of industry knowledge and technology.

Fluency in English.

Other Qualifications

Experience in media relations.

Experience in issues communications.

Familiarity with Middle East & Africa labor laws and processes.

Other languages (Arabic) are highly desirable.

Relevant certifications (e.g. internal communications change management) or equivalent experience.
