Job Summary

Al Marwan Developments is seeking a skilled and reliable MEP Technician with experience in residential or commercial projects. The role involves installation maintenance and troubleshooting of Mechanical Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems ensuring systems operate efficiently safely and in compliance with technical standards. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented proactive and capable of coordinating with multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

The key duties and responsibilities of the MEP Technician include but are not limited to:

• Install maintain and troubleshoot MEP systems including HVAC plumbing electrical fire-fighting and related systems.

• Read and interpret technical drawings schematics and specifications accurately.

• Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure smooth operation of MEP systems and reduce breakdowns.

• Inspect and test MEP systems to ensure compliance with technical standards safety regulations and project specifications.

• Coordinate with procurement storekeepers and maintenance teams to ensure availability and suitability of MEP materials and components.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities inspections and service reports.

• Identify defects malfunctions or non-conforming materials and take corrective actions promptly.

• Support audits compliance checks and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Utilize computer systems for documentation reporting and data entry.

• Assist with ad-hoc tasks to support MEP operations and project requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Electrical or relevant engineering field (preferred).

• 24 years of experience as an MEP Technician in residential or commercial projects.

• Strong knowledge of HVAC plumbing electrical and fire-fighting systems.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings blueprints and manuals.

• Strong analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Reliable honest and able to make unbiased operational decisions.

• Proficient in computer usage; familiarity with maintenance management software is an advantage.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• UAE experience preferred.
