Job SummaryThe MultiProperty General Manager is responsible for leading the successful preopening launch and ongoing operations of the Marriott Executive Apartments and Marriott Residences on Sheikh Zayed Road Dubai. This leadership role oversees all operational financial and brand performance aspects across both properties ensuring compliance with Marriott brand standards while delivering an exceptional residential guest experience.
This position is ideal for a strong operations leader with a roomsfocused background and is open to highpotential firsttime General Managers ready to lead a major multiproperty opening.
Key Responsibilities PreOpening Leadership- Drive all preopening activities including recruitment training brand activation budgeting procurement and operational setup.
- Collaborate with Ownership Project Teams Marriott Corporate/Continent Support and Property Teams to ensure timely readiness for opening.
- Lead the development of SOPs tailored for extendedstay and residencestyle operations.
- Oversee licensing regulatory compliance and handover from construction teams to operations.
Operations Management- Provide overall leadership for the daily operations of both the Executive Apartments and Residences.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness safety preventive maintenance and residential guest comfort.
- Oversee Rooms Operations as the primary operational focus area including Housekeeping Front Office Engineering Security and Guest Services.
- Implement effective operational controls processes and systems to maintain efficiency and cost management.
Resident & Guest Experience- Champion Marriotts service culture ensuring personalized longstayfocused guest engagement.
- Monitor resident satisfaction metrics resolving issues swiftly and anticipating longterm guest needs.
- Maintain a strong presence in public areas and foster meaningful relationships with residents and key tenants.
Financial & Business Performance- Develop and manage budgets forecast performance and drive profitability across both assets.
- Lead revenue strategies tailored to longstay and residential business models.
- Control operating expenses and maintain strong cost discipline.
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting internal controls and brand audit standards.
Leadership & Talent Development- Recruit train and inspire highperforming teams for both properties.
- Build a collaborative multiproperty management structure with clear roles and responsibilities.
- Foster a culture of engagement accountability and continuous improvement.
- Mentor department leaders and support career growth aligned with Marriotts talent pipeline.
Brand & Owner Relations- Uphold Marriott brand standards across all operational and service areas.
- Serve as the primary contact for Ownership providing transparent communication and business updates.
- Build strong relationships with community stakeholders government entities and business partners.
Required Experience & Qualifications- Strong operations background ideally with significant Rooms Operations leadership experience.
- Previous multidepartment leadership at Director of Operations Hotel Manager or similar level.
- Experience in extendedstay serviced apartments or luxury residential operations preferred.
- Proven ability to lead teams manage financial performance and deliver brandconsistent service.
- Preopening experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Open to firsttime General Managers demonstrating readiness leadership maturity and strong business acumen.
