Job Description
A long-established and trusted global brokerage firm continues to scale its trading infrastructure and support growing regional operations we are seeking a dedicated Software Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the highest standards of quality and performance across all trading platforms and web applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing using Playwright and JavaScript with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering reliable high-performing systems in a fast-paced financial environment.
Location: Hybrid - Dubai UAE
Responsibilities:
As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Design execute and maintain comprehensive test plans cases and scripts to ensure optimal performance of web-based trading platforms and client portals.
- Conduct manual and automated testing using Playwright and JavaScript across multiple environments to verify system reliability and accuracy.
- Validate end-to-end trading flows including account onboarding order execution funding and reporting functionalities.
- Identify document and track bugs or performance issues ensuring timely communication and resolution with development teams.
- Collaborate closely with developers product owners and QA peers to maintain consistent release quality and minimize production risks.
- Contribute to continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) frameworks by integrating automated testing processes.
- Perform regression integration and cross-browser testing to guarantee stability and scalability.
- Provide input during system design and requirements phases to prevent defects and optimize test coverage.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field.
- 24 years of QA experience preferably within FinTech Forex CFD or trading platform environments.
- Proven experience in Playwright and JavaScript-based automation frameworks.
- Solid understanding of QA methodologies functional and non-functional testing.
- Familiarity with REST API testing CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g. Git).
- Strong analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork in Agile/Scrum settings.

- Experience testing MetaTrader (MT4/MT5) integrations or proprietary trading platforms.
- Knowledge of payment flows risk management systems or client onboarding processes in brokerage environments.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools and frameworks.
