Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced post-contract Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our organization you will play a crucial role in providing expert cost management and consultancy services for various construction projects across the region.
- Manage post-contract commercial activities on developer-led projects from award to final account
- Monitor and control project costs including cost-to-complete and cashflow forecasts
- Assess negotiate and agree variations claims and change events
- Prepare monthly cost reports for internal teams and stakeholders
- Identify and manage commercial and cost risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead negotiations with contractors and suppliers to achieve best value
- Administer interim payments valuations and final accounts
- Work closely with engineers consultants and site teams to support project delivery
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying Construction Management or a related field
- Professional certification from a recognized institution (e.g. RICS AACE International) an advantage
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost consultancy.
- Previous experience in the Middle East region is essential.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g. CostX) and Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients contractors and team members
- In-depth knowledge of construction industry standards practices and current market rates
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Fluency in English
