Arquitectonica is an award-winning design-focused architecture and planning firm with a worldwide practice of 500 employees located in eleven offices. Our Dubai office is seeking a Senior Marketing and Business Development Manager to join our Middle East team.
Position Description
The ideal candidate is a self-starter detail oriented has a whatever it takes attitude and a minimum of 10 years of experience in the AEC industry. Key skills for success include strong interpersonal communication proposal development clear writing visual/graphic design sensibility creative thinking and the ability to conduct research and external outreach to identify new project leads. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to work in a dynamic environment contributing to the firms growth and project win rate in the rapidly growing in the Middle East market.
The ideal candidate must be committed to growing their understanding of our business and is professional within a fast-paced environment with the ability to complete simultaneous assignments in a deadline-driven atmosphere. This position in the marketing team requires a level of insight and strategy to project pursuits working with multiple team members globally to develop Arquitectonicas approach to specific clients and opportunities. Candidates should be excellent communicators strategic problem-solvers and results driven team players.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Reports to the Managing Director of the Middle East and Asia offices in coordination with the Director of Marketing located in Miami.
- Prospecting tracking and reporting of business leads (Deltek Vantagepoint)
- Researching potential pursuits and leads reporting next steps to leadership including weekly tracking keeping everyone on schedule for delivery
- Tracking and maintaining pre-qualifications registrations
- Working with leadership and senior staff to produce qualifications proposals and presentations
- Consultant coordination and management during the pursuit process
- Preparing tailored brochures and other marketing materials for new clients or work
- Preparing and updating corporate requirements (resumes brochures etc.)
- Research design write and produce marketing materials specific to project pursuits in alignment with the firms brand
- Manage regional social media channels under the direction of the Managing Director in coordination with the Director of Marketing ensuring consistent brand voice and engagement.
- Coordinate with the Director of Marketing to work within the firms CRM System as it relates to pursuits and new business
Education and Experience
- Minimum of a bachelors degree in marketing communications journalism public relations architecture or an equivalent level of experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in an AEC marketing position
- Experience in an Architecture/Engineering/Construction firm is required
- Applicants should be proficient in InDesign PowerPoint Word and Excel as well as have an understanding of Deltek Vantagepoint and OpenAsset
- The candidate must be able to manage a proposal from beginning to end with little oversight.
- Experience in Dubai and/ or the Middle East preferred
Additional Experience and Skills Desired
- Fluency in spoken and written English is required. Spoken and written proficiency of Arabic a plus.
- Ability to work independently
- Strong sense of architectural and graphic design
- In depth knowledge of the local and global architectural industry
This is a full-time role based in our Arquitectonica Dubai office. Please note:
