Job Description
- Installing and configuring hardware and software components to ensure usability.
- Troubleshooting hardware software and network issues.
- Ensuring electrical safety standards are met.
- Repair Upgrade or Replace damaged hardware.
- Perform routine checkups and preventive maintenance where required.
- Keep track of the IT Asset information and ensure that the asset information is accurate and up to date.
- Work closely with the Pedagogical Team and ICT officer to identify and resolve issues.
- Upgrading the entire system to enable compatible software on all computers.
- Installing and upgrading anti-virus software to ensure security at the user level.
- Performing tests and evaluations on new software and hardware.
- Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting.
- Establishing good relationships with all departments and colleagues.
- Conducting daily backup operations.
- Managing technical documentation.
Qualifications :
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 2 years experience as an IT Technician preferably from an Educational Organization.
- A MCSE or Cisco Certified Network Associate accreditation advantageous.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good Customer support and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
