Job Summary
- Position: Boat Mechanic ( Offshore)
- Work Location: Island
- Salary : 3445 AED
- Rotation: 90/30
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Boat Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine mechanics and possess a passion for boats and the marine industry. As a Boat Mechanic you will be responsible for performing maintenance repairs and installations on various types of boats and marine equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Perform routine maintenance on boats including engine tune-ups oil changes and filter replacements
- - Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs
- - Install and repair boat engines transmissions and other mechanical systems
- - Conduct inspections of boats and equipment to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs
- - Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
- - Maintain a clean and organized work area
- - Communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent customer service
- - Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in boat mechanics
Requirements:
- - High school diploma or equivalent
- - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a boat mechanic
- - Strong knowledge of boat engines electrical systems and other mechanical systems
- - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- - Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- - Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- - Excellent communication and customer service skills
- - Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
- - Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- - Must be willing to work flexible hours and overtime as needed
