Job Summary
Apt Resources is looking for a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations of a high-end restaurant in this crucial role you will ensure that all facilities equipment and systems are maintained in excellent working order to support a seamless dining experience. The Maintenance Manager will lead a team of skilled technicians manage maintenance schedules and ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a proactive maintenance management program for all restaurant facilities and equipment.
- Supervise and lead the maintenance team ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections of the restaurants facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety issues.
- Coordinate repairs upgrades and preventive maintenance tasks ensuring minimal disruption to restaurant operations.
- Manage the inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment ensuring timely procurement and stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations health and hygiene standards and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance issues and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities equipment performance and compliance documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in engineering facilities management or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance management preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Strong knowledge of building systems restaurant equipment and maintenance best practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Highly organized with strong Excel and documentation skills
- Experience in Dubai UAE or the wider GCC is mandatory
- Strong knowledge of kitchen maintenance
