Job Title: Commis Chef Bakery
Role Overview
A well-established restaurant specializing in authentic Anatolian cuisine is seeking a passionate and motivated Commis Chef Bakery to join its culinary team in Abu Dhabi. This onsite role supports the bakery and pastry section in producing high-quality baked goods ensuring guests consistently enjoy fresh and expertly prepared products.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and production of a variety of baked goods in line with established recipes and techniques.
Support senior chefs with baking tasks including mixing rolling shaping dough and monitoring baking times and temperatures.
Ensure proper organization labeling and storage of ingredients while maintaining food safety standards.
Maintain cleanliness hygiene and organization of the workstation according to kitchen regulations.
Work closely with the culinary team to ensure efficient service during high-volume periods.
Requirements
Must-Have Requirements
Previous bakery experience or relevant culinary training.
Basic knowledge of baking techniques and bakery ingredients.
Strong attention to detail and presentation standards.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Good time management organizational and teamwork skills.
Commitment to high standards of hygiene cleanliness and food safety.
Flexible availability for shifts including evenings weekends and holidays.
Nice-to-Have Requirements
Experience handling various doughs and bakery preparations.
Knowledge of ingredient rotation labeling and storage best practices.
Ability to contribute positively during busy service periods.
